At my husband’s last class reunion, one of his classmates was at the Pentagon on the day of the attack. In fact, the attack happened near his office. He said they were doing remodeling on the Pentagon and at first he thought the noise had something to do with the construction crew. Even though his office was spared, he went to help find survivors to provide aid. Listening to his story, you almost felt like you were there experiencing the horror with him. We hear a lot about the trade center and sometimes we forget that the Pentagon was attacked too along with the plane that went down near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
