In the January/February 2024 issue of Family Tree Magazine, they have introduced The Year Ahead, 366 genealogy tips will make 2024 yourbest research year yet by Lisa A Alzo. Lisa mapped out a day-by-day research plan.

September 26 – Do you have seafaring ancestors? Use online resources at www.archives.gov/research/maritime to learn more about them on World Maritime Day.

As far as I know, I don’t have any seafaring ancestors. Of course, I haven’t found all my ancestors, I have many missing holes in my pedigree chart starting with my 3^rd great grandparents and going back Thus, I may need this link later, so if you haven’t found all your ancestors either, bookmark this site in case you might need it later.
