October 20 – Explore new digital collections on FamilySearch;
from www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list,
sort by Last Updated.
I have used FamilySearch’s card catalog; however, I didn’t
know this list was here. I am very excited to see Ireland, Catholic Parish
Registers, 1740-1900 since I have Irish Roots.
When I brought up the list, it was alphabetically by default. Thus, I click on Last updated. This then sorted the list with the oldest date first, so I had to click it once more to get the most current to display first. I can also change the list from 10 items to 20, 50, 100 or all items. Within each date, it doesn’t sort the list alphabetically, so maybe there is a time field, we don’t see. And thus, the list might be sorted by the actually time it was uploaded
My desired collection shows a camera icon to represent there
are images, however, the few records I looked at stated there was no image
available. Thus, the items might not be available for all records within the
collection.
