The Year Ahead – October 30

In the January/February 2024 issue of Family Tree Magazine, they have introduced The Year Ahead, 366 genealogy tips will make 2024 your best research year yet by Lisa A Alzo. Lisa mapped out a day-by-day research plan.

October 30 – Peruse the national Collection of Union Manuscripts (NUCMC) www.loc.gov/coll/nucmc for recent collections of interest or items related to your genealogy.

I never used these collections and thus I am very unfamiliar with this website. I am not exactly sure if the information is available on-line or if it is a guide on where to find the printed items in person. So take a look and see what you find out.
