they have introduced The Year Ahead, 366 genealogy tips will make 2024 your best research year yet by Lisa A Alzo. Lisa mapped out a day-by-day research
plan.
September 15 – Tackle the genealogy task you’ve been putting
off – maybe writing to a newfound relative or filing a pesky stack of
documents.
We all have those tasks that are not as fun as research. However, if you can’t find something you already have, how much time are wasting researching it again? Thus, just sorting that pesky stack of documents into more meaningful piles is a great first step. Perhaps, you can sort them into family surnames (such as based on your direct ancestors). Then if you are researching that family branch, you can start with that sorted pile and scan, purge, or file that pile and it becomes one less pile on your to-do-list.
Remember to have fun and Just do Genealogy!
