In the January/February 2024 issue of Family Tree Magazine, they have introduced The Year Ahead, 366 genealogy tips will make 2024 your best research year yet by Lisa A Alzo. Lisa mapped out a day-by-day research plan.
March 9 – Look up your ancestral addresses in city directories, which you can find at Ancestry.com, MyHeritage, and library websites.
Did you know that some cities renumbered all the house numbers in their town? My hometown did this in the early 1900's and thus addresses in the 1900 US Census do not match the address in the 1910 US Census, even though the person didn't move. Thus, make sure to investigate how and when your town developed the house numbering system.
