they have introduced The Year Ahead, 366 genealogy tips will make 2024 your best research year yet by Lisa A Alzo. Lisa mapped out a day-by-day research
plan.
July 29– Make a picnic out of Grandma’s potato salad or
another summer dish recipe.
When I see hints like these, I realize how much I missed out
on, not knowing my Grandparent’s very well since they died when I was quite
young. However, perhaps you have relatives who knew your grandparents and they knew
their favorite dish or favorite recipe. My older siblings knew my grandparents
better than I. However, as I am aging, so are they. I have my mother’s old
cookbook and small recipe card box to find recipes she may have gotten from her
mother.
Remember to have fun and Just do Genealogy!
